Computer Science students of 2021 make History!

Congratulations to the Computer Science Class of 2021, who made their own bit of history on Saturday 22nd of May, by becoming the 1st group of students at Sacred Heart to sit the Leaving Certificate Computer Science exam. Although the class of 2020 were the inaugural Computer Science students, they never got the opportunity to sit the examination due to the Covid pandemic. The subject consists of; 

• a final examination consisting of a paper-based element and a computer-based element worth 70% of the marks,

• a practical coursework project to be completed under the supervision of the class teacher, worth 30% of the marks.
