Thank to Ms O’Connell for the following advice for her art students.
Hello Students,
I’m working on a Self-portrait at the moment taking photos of my work and process.
The 4th Years are also doing digital Self-Portraits, Karla and Biola have made inspiring ones!
As you probably know by now - all instructions on what to do for your ART CLASSES is on Google Classroom. I am posting work to each group usually on the day that we have class. Check in to see what work to do and post on Google Classroom OR email to me your art work!
THANKS!
I keep notebooks to develop my ideas - here I’m experimenting with the way that paint layers and mixes in abstract brushstrokes.
Notebook work can be simple - both of these drawings were done in the car while I was waiting for people! Note - the portrait has several mistakes! I made the features too small for the face so I enlarged the head - it doesn’t matter if the work isn’t perfect - what matters is that it is drawn!
Woops - this is sideways! This was the last drawing I did during the weekend - I love drawing objects that have a personal meaning. And I was experimenting with the pencils and pastels.
Stay creative - it’s a great stress buster!!
