We would like to wish all our Transition Year students every success as they experience the world of work in so many different areas this week - Monday February 10th to Friday , February 14th

Work Experience in Transition Year is an opportunity to gain experience in a workplace of interest. Our school gives TY students one week during the second term for Work Experience. During this time students are expected to work in a business / organisation/school etc that they have organised a work experience placement with.

These placements can be invaluable learning opportunities for students and are often referred to by them as one of the highlights of their school year.

Work placements allow students to not only learn about the world of work and explore possible career options but also to actively develop skills for future enterprise and employability.

We look forward to our students sharing the experience of their placement with us.
