Bank Of Ireland Money Smarts Challenge
On Wednesday afternoon, April 28th, two teams of four Transition Year students, took part in the Bank Of Ireland Money Smarts Challenge, a quiz based on Business and Finance. With a huge incentive of €25,000 for the school, and a place at the regional finals there was a lot on the line for the teams and the school. We prepared by looking at all the different areas which the quiz was based around and the sample questions which we were provided with. The challenge was established to make students gain an understanding of financial well being, money management and more. We learned so much from the experience and it was very worthwhile competing.
The students each received a 20 euro voucher for Penny’s for their participation , and so are looking forward to the reopening of this very popular store.
Well done to all students who took part.
