He@lthFest 2021
He@lthFest. is a free event tailored to teenagers which has successfully run for five years. It is the only event of its kind, featuring experts in the areas of physical activity, nutrition and mental wellbeing.
This year’s event took place on Wednesday 27st of January from 2-4pm and was brought to over 8,000 attendees virtually for the first time – as He@lthFest. A very interactive platform was used to deliver credible information from Irish experts; and students were able to visit exhibitor stands, win fantastic prizes and even take place in a virtual scavenger hunt!
TY STUDENT - MY REFLECTION ON He@lthFest.
I took part in Heath Fest on Wednesday the 27th of January. I got really lucky that I was accepted and allowed to go to the event held by The National Dairy Council, held virtually due to the Covid-19 restrictions. The day from start to finish was an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyable throughout. The day was full of learning and highly educational along with being easy to understand and interesting. We got opportunities to play games through learning, along with listening to informative talks and engaging with interesting stands. All of the talks and exhibits were packed full of interesting information and you couldn't have left the event without learning more than what you came in with. I felt so privileged and delighted I could attend as it was more than worth it.
