The Globe Theatre comes to Sacred Heart

Transition Year students are busy auditioning for a school production of “Romeo and Juliet”. The excitement surrounding this project is the brain child of the Director , TY student ,Aoibhe Daly.

Aoibhe , who has looked forward to being involved in our school musical again this year , which unfortunately has been postponed due to Covid 19, did not want to see her peers miss out on the great experience, and fun School Musicals have brought to students for over 40 years.

Aoibhe, looked to Shakespeare for inspiration and felt a production with acting, and unfortunately without music, while abiding by Covid 19 regulations, would be the obvious production to fill the void .

Aoibhe will announce the results of the auditions later this afternoon . A Globe Theatre performance will take place in December.
