Road Crash Simulation at Sacred Heart

Last Friday the 5th year students of Sacred Heart Secondary School, received a full Road Crash Simulation from a number of local agencies such as members from Clonakilty Garda Station, The Irish Red Cross and the Local Fire Brigade. The students were taken through a simulated road traffic event. All aspects of the road traffic event was simulated as if it was the real event, with the Fire service, An Gardaí and Irish Red Cross all working together to make the scene safe, extract the injured from the crashed vehicle and provide first aid. Many thanks to everyone involved for their input into making the event such a valuable education experience for the students.
