SHSS Rome Trip 2023 - Day 2

What a day!

The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Colosseum.

Lots of walking in the sunshine. A religious parade for Palm Sunday. Beautiful architecture. Selfies. Gelato. Pizza and pasta. Then, lots of hailstone the size of golf balls! We couldn’t believe it.

Highlight of the day: The sunshine.

Disappointment of the day: Man United lost. Poor Mr Pegler.

Surprise of the day: The hailstone, thunder and lightning.

Pompeii tomorrow! Can’t wait.
