Macbeth Cinema Trip

Leaving Cert students watched the 2015 film version of Macbeth today at Clonakilty Park Cinema. Starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, the film is a visual feast of mist, fire, wind and blood.

Ms O’Donoghue and Ms Bell accompanied the students even though Ms Bell spent most of the film with her eyes closed due to the violent scenes.

Shakespeare’s Macbeth is on the prescribed list for the Leaving Cert 2023.
