 Excitement has been building for the Munster Final next weekend! How exciting. Best of luck to all involved. Daffodil Day 2022 was a triumph. Lots of money raised for such a fantastic cause.

Best news of the week:  Two weeks to Easter!

Heroes of the week : The fifth years and TYs who organised all the Daffodil Day activities. Great work!

Cutest dog of the week: Stella Deasy. So sweet!

Best day of the week:  Monday! A day off for all students. It made a long weekend even longer.

Banksy wannabes of the week: The TY Art students who painted the mural in the picnic area. Just gorgeous! 

Highlight of the week: The sunny HOT weather! It’s like summer! Bring it on. 

Talk of the week: The LCVP talk from Clonakilty Gluten Free Kitchen. Nice treats to sample and all. 

Book swap of the week:   The Daffodil on Wheels book swap in the GPR. More books, fewer screens!!! 

Happiest day of the week: International Day of Happiness? Like, hello? There was no school and an extra sleep in…Bliss.

TikTok of the week: The Daffodil Day one about the merch and stuff. 

Saddest moment of the week: The 6th year hockey players who played one of their last games for SHSS. They eased the pain with ice cream. 

Podcast of the week: RTE’s Paul Cunningham who spoke so well about Ukraine, school and journalism. Check it out!

Victors of the week (1): The Senior B hockey team who defeated St Angela’s!
