Thanks to SHSS TY Journalists

Sacred Heart wants to thank the 2020/2021 SHSS journalists for all their hard work and commitment since September. Sarah Coakley, Aoibhe Daly and Nooran Alrubaye were on the pulse all year, covering various events that took place at school.

Journalism is a great opportunity for any TY student. It enhances literacy skills and is filled with learning opportunities such as writing, reporting and editing. This is useful for Leaving Cert English. Writing for an authentic audience helps writers put together their thoughts and frame their writing.

We wish Sarah, Aoibhe and Nooran all the best in fifth year.
