Concern Debates Victory for SHSS!

Ms Eileen Harte and her Concern Debating team are through to the quarter finals of the Concern Debates. A unanimous victory for Lucy Hodnett, Lucy McCarthy, Orla Moroney, and Aoibhe Daly. The knockout round motion was:

‘Nuclear Power is essential for a clean energy future’

SHSS proposed the motion.

Sabine Cullinane and Nooran Al Rubaye also contributed to this win, helping with research and videography.

Ms Harte’s magic touch strikes again.

SHSS won the Concern Debates in 2017 and made the semi-final in 2018. We wish the team the best of luck in the next stage of the competition.
