Bonjour de Normandie!

Ms Bell’s second year French students enjoyed a live Kahoot game with their French pen pals in Normandy today. Ms Bell and Madame Bisson set up a Google link where the classes could interact in real time. Ms Bell cast the video link on the whiteboard and the students got to communicate in French and English. The Kahoot game included questions on French and Irish culture. There was lots of waving and laughter.

Ms Bell has set up numerous pen pal links in the school this year. This particular second year class have written letters, made Christmas cards and also sent video presentations to French students. It is a communicative and authentic way to learn a modern language.
