Autism experience for TY students
Class of 4.1 went to the parish centre on Tuesday the 8th to visit the Autism Experience. There were information stands and interactive displays, we had lots of fun participating in the activities which not only were enjoyable but were educational aswell. Posters around the centre offered students a world of information about Autism. Ours eyes were opened to Autism and the challenges faced on a daily basis.
Students felt as if they had learned a lot about Autism and how people with autism undertake everyday tasks.
"I enjoyed the interactive activities at the autism workshop because it put into perspective the challenges people with autism face"
"the games were fun and told us alot about how people who have autism deal with situations"
"The workshop was very informative and I learned alot."
