Upcoming Fundraising for Clonakilty Community Youth Centre

The committee  would like to update you on the new proposed "Clonakilty Community Youth Centre".

The committee responsible for running the Foroige in Clonakilty have been looking for a suitable youth
centre for many years.  A property has now been located on Lamb St, near Deasy's car park. The Council has agreed to lease the property to the "Clonakilty Community Youth Centre"  committee who plan toconvert the property to a suitable centre for the youth of the town.

The first priority of the committee is to raise the funding to convert the property to a suitable centre.
The funding needed is in the region of C100,000. If you have passed the property, you would have noticed a large "Fundometer"  on the side of the building.

The Committee are now planning our next fundraising event.

We are planning a charity auction on May 2Oth in Clonakilty Parish centre, We are asking for any items/vouchers/hampers to be donated so that on the day, each item will be auctioned. We would be grateful if you would inform all the staff/ students and their families of this event for both donations and coming to the event itself.
