Trip to Carrigfadda

A group of our Transition year students enjoyed a great day out on Tuesday March 25th, completing the Carrigfadda Hill Walk. Thanks to Miss Love, and Ms Shanahan who accompanied the girls.

The Carrigfadda Hill Walk (3.7 kms, 2 hours, strenuous) is a muscle stretching climb that rewards with the most magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and coastline as you ascend. There is respite half way up with seats beside the trail before you reach the Marian Cross, and the Trig Point that marks the peak of the hill. Views on a clear day are just stunning.
