Opening of School Bank

The annual opening of our School Bank took place on Tuesday , March 4th. Members of our local Bank of Ireland carried out interviews over the last few weeks and were present for the official opening. Congratulations to all TY students who impressed Bank officials during these interviews and who were given official Banking Positions , as outlined below.

Promotions – Online Team : Orla Finn,Aoibhinn O Brien and Roisin Duggan

Promotions team – Face to Face :Ciara O Driscoll ,Ellen O Neill , Jill McCarthy ,Aideen O Sullivan, Niamh Price and Olive O Flynn .

Also present at the opening was Rob Heffernan ,Ireland's first world champion in athletics , having won gold in the 50km walk in Moscow in August 2013.

Rob Heffernan, joined Bank of Ireland in July 2018 as a Youth Ambassador for BOI Cork City after a highly decorated Athletics career which spanned three decades. Rob a native of Togher, Cork is one of Ireland's most decorated athletes having represented Ireland on the World stage with distinction for over 20 years.
