Congratulations ...Irish certified Angus Victory

Congratulations to our Aberdeen Angus Girls, Ciara, Niamh, Ellen and Lucy , and their Mentor Miss O Riordan who were winners in this year’s Irish Angus School’s Competition.The girls were one of five schools, out of 43 entries ,to be given 5 Angus calves to rear. We wish them every success ,and look forward to hearing more about their story, and in particular, that of their calves over the next 18 months.

This exciting competition, which is run by Certifies Irish Angus Producer Group , and their partners ABP and Kepak, challenges students to rear five Irish Angus calves over 18 months, while completing a research project. The initiative aims to promote the Certified Irish Angus brand while educating students about the care and attention required to produce quality beef for consumers.
