Alita Kelly,South West Youth Development Officer, with Saint Vincent De Paul returned to Sacred Heart to speak to Transition Year about the work of this organisation, an organisation that places a huge emphasis on Social Justice.

SVP provides support / financial assistance to families and individuals in need throughout Ireland . The key areas of priority are ........Food on the table, Heat in homes, Education funding (to degree level) and Housing support to assist struggling families stay in their homes & avoid homelessness. This support is delivered, and managed, by 63 individual volunteer-led local housing Conferences across the country.
