BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition
Best of luck to Transition Year students Bonnie Hegarty O’ Brien, Aoibhinn O’ Flynn, Ellen Meade, Ella O’ Sullivan, and their teacher ,Ms Shanahan, who this week will take part in the 60th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition . Their Projects are titled “Blue Light Glasses, True or Rubbish” and “Honey Its Fake!”
President Michael D Higgins will officially open the annual Exhibition. 500 projects from 219 schools will be on display from January 11th , until Saturday, January 13th,at the RDS in Dublin. A judging panel of 85 experts from the world of STEM and business will choose over 200 prize winners.
This year marks the 60th years since the Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition began ,and BT Ireland estimates that since its creation, some 150,000 young people have taken part ,putting forward over 100,000 project ideas.
