Our Message to You Who are older and Wiser…..

As Christmas approaches we take time to ask ourselves one very important question-that is -why are people who are older than us so special in our lives? There are so many answers, so many reasons. Each day  we answer this question by saying ‘it is your intelligence, your wisdom, your ability to understand situations, the depth of your compassion, your shared experiences, your acceptance, your generosity and , in particular,your love”.Such are the qualities we admire, we respect, qualities we will treasure today, tomorrow, forever.

Let us now take this opportunity to thank the Staff and Residents of Clonakilty Community Hospital, Bushmount , and Care Choice Nursing Home for welcoming our Transition Year students back into your Community. We also take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas ,and a Very Happy New Year. Looking forward to more weekly visits in 2024.

Transition Year students , along with the Third Year Music Students were delighted to have had the opportunity to be with the residents of Clonakilty Community Hospital ,on Monday December 11th . As a Christmas gift to these wonderful people ,the girls ,through music and words , spread the message of peace, joy and happiness.
