Transition Year Programme in the Arts and Humanities ,Feb 2023

Congratulations to Transition Year student Roisin O Callaghan was one of 18 students accepted into the Transition Year Programme in the Arts and Humanities ,U.C.C , in February 2023.

This programme is designed for second level Transition Year students interested in literary, creative, and historical humanities.

The week-long programme includes a range of workshops and taster lectures/seminars on. 

• Celtic Civilisation

• English

• Greek and Roman Civilisation

• History

• History of Art

• Theatre

Corvinus students will have the opportunity to experience what it is like to be an undergraduate student, to attend lectures with other undergraduate students and to experience focused study in special tutorial groups. The programme includes varied workshops (in 2020, these included Creative Writing, Theatre and Performance and Visual Literacy).

This structured programme introduces TY students to a broader third-level student experience and will include a tour of the campus, an introduction to the library and a career talk.

At the end of the course, the students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
