Prep for Health

Term 3 has stated off with a kick start for Transition Year Students here at Sacred Heart.A group of students were given an introduction to the World of Medicine on Tuesday ,April 13th 2021.

All medical careers were featured.

1. School of Medicine

2. School of Nursing & Midwifery

3. School of Pharmacy

4. School of Clinical Therapies (OT, Speech and language)

5. School of Dentistry

6. School of Public Health

 The event was fully virtual where:

•  Each school from the college had a one-hour slot.

• The first 30 minutes involved a tour around the facilities used at the university.

• The second 30 minutes switched to CUH where a specialist working in that specific clinical area described what it is like to be a specialist in their field.
