"TY VIRTUAL ACTIVITY WEEK 2020-2021"

Monday, March 1st , will see History made again by this year’s Transition Year students here at Sacred Heart.The Class Representatives have been working ,hard putting together a varied, productive and fun schedule for their peers. The schedule for the week will be delivered , and posted to all students , teachers and parents before the end of this week. Events will include music,dance,and baking workshops, where “Local Enterprise Week” ( March 1st) and International Women’s Day (March 8th) will be marked.

There will be an acknowledgement of the importance of the“World of Science”, as the students will be take part in the “I Wish Digital Showcase 2021  “on Thursday March 4th.

There will be an emphasis on the “Working World”, where students will “Bring the Working World to School”. In doing this , some of our past pupils will “Return to School “, and share their varied experiences, and varied professions with our students .During this week ,we will also have outside sources introducing our students to areas such as “Self Employment for Transition Year Students”.

In addition ,on March 11th , the students will have a day-long “Working World “event which will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm.

This event will feature 7 professionals from 7 different industries, giving our students insight into different industries by having skilled trainers from their profession demonstrate their skills . This event will take place virtually.
