Concern Debating

 The Concern Debating team here at Sacred Heart participated in their second debate on Tuesday, December 14th. Once again this debate was online. The motion up for debate was “The Challenges to ending World Hunger are insurmountable”

The girls opposed the motion,debating against North Monastery Secondary School, Cork

 The speakers for this debate were Claire Foyle, Niamh Dineen, Eabha Eagan and Sinead O Mahony. Other team members were Rhiannon Finney, Leah Murphy and Aina Prat Gutierrez

The motion was unanimously defeated.

Well done to the girls on their commitment and dedication to the art and skill of debating. They are already looking forward to their next debate in January 2022. The motion for debate is “It's simply wrong for Billionaires like Bezos , Branson and Musk to “joyride” to space with so many problems back  on earth”.
