PSYCHSLAM
The PsychSlam competition organised by the School of Applied Psychology invites TY student teams to research a topic in Psychology and present their findings in a 6 minute PowerPoint presentation.
Transition Year students compete against others schools in describing a topic in psychology in a fun and engaging way.
Topics range from ‘why do some people love to be scared by horror films’ or ‘can high testosterone make people aggressive’ or even ‘does playing video games make you smarter?’
We wish luck to the six students who will represent Sacred Heart at this years Pysch Slam competition, which takes place tomorrow, Friday February 28th. The team members are Claire Murphy,Hannah Cunningham, Kate Whelton, Aine Moloney,Chloe Holland and Priscilla Boahen. Their presentation is based on the following topic: : “How does your Neighbourhood affect your Mental and Physical Health ?”
