All Ireland Scholarship Award

Congratulations and well done to Nicole Harrington. Nicole is one of 125 students who was presented with an award at a ceremony in UL on March 30th. Nicole was accompanied by her mum & dad (Helen & Anthony), and Principal Ann Marie Brosnan. The All Ireland Scholarships were established in 2008 by the JP McManus Trust to financially support many gifted young students across the island of Ireland. 125 All Ireland Scholarships are awarded each year across the 32 counties.  Nicole is currently studying Medicine in UCC.

The value of each All Ireland Scholarship is set at €6,750 per annum in the Republic of Ireland and £5,500 per annum in Northern Ireland, and the scholarships apply for the duration of the undergraduate programmes chosen by the scholarship winners.
