Junior Rugby team to join Seniors in final!

Another tremendous success for our rugby team who are through to the Junior Cup Final after beating Scoil Mhuire 35 v 5 ❤️💚 Well done to all involved! @clonakiltyrfc

Today our junior team journeyed to Tralee RFC to take on Ard Scoil mhuire from limerick in the Munster schools junior cup semi final. Sacred heart had a slow start by there standards while Maria O Donovan opened up the scoring with a try, converted by Keelin McCarthy. Ard scoil mhuire struck back very quickly with a try of their own. Sacred heart, finding themselves under pressure managed to take control of the game and found there grove. There were lovely, flowing passages of play as both sides put on a great display and high standard of rugby. Congratulations to both schools on getting to a Munster semi final and best of luck to Sacred heart girls in the final. Try scorers include: Maria O’Donovan, Laura Sexton, Amie Millin, Lani O’Donovan, Julie finn, Keelin McCarthy and Niamh Hilliard with two. Conversations were taking by Keelin McCarthy.
