Catholic Schools Week

This week is Catholic Schools Week. This year’s theme, Catholic Schools: Communities of Service, focuses on the service that we give to one another by caring for each other in our home, our school and our parish.

Each day this week we will have an intercom announcement with a different focus. Today we will focus on service in our community of friends.

Friendship is one of life’s gifts and a grace from God. The experience of friendship teaches us to be open, understanding and caring towards others, to come out of our own comfortable isolation and to share our lives with others. For this reason, ‘there is nothing so precious as a faithful friend’. Amen
