Careers Expo from the Class of 2023!

In mid-January there was a past pupils expo in the GPR where a range of courses and colleges were represented. This was an opportunity to network with students who are returning to share their knowledge. It is difficult to accommodate all specific areas of interest as it is dependant on availability of the past pupils but all students who attended (4th-6th) had a chance to gain some insight to some of the aspects of life after school.

Students asked a number of questions such as:
- Subject links between 2nd and 3rd level learning
- Course content detail especially modules
- Typical day in the life of a student
- College information, location, lecture styles, projects,exams
- Accommodation
- Finances, cost of living
- Making decisions
- Clubs and societies
