Katelyn wins Gold at the National Weightlifting Championships

Katelyn O’Donovan, 5th year, had amazing success at the The National Age Grade Championships (NAGC) that took place on Saturday the 23rd in SETU Sports Hall, Waterford. Katelyn competed in the Olympic lifts of the Snatch, lifting 43kg and the Clean and Jerk where she lifted up to 58kg. These were all platform lifts and as a result Katelyn won Gold for the Youth Category. Katelyn is humble, hardworking and a very determined young woman. Huge well done to Katelyn from all of us at SHSS!
