Awards, graduations, certificates, music, Mass, sunshine, Gaisce. Another busy week at SHSS.

Event of the week (1): The Leaving Cert Graduation. Goodbye and good luck to the Class of 23!

Event of the week (2) : The TY Graduation. 

Adventurers  of the week: The Gaisce students who went to Bere Island. 

Yummiest day of the week: Friday. There was breakfast in Room 22. French toast and fruit and bacon and focaccia. Delish!

Chefs of the week: Mr P, Karen and Miriam who barbecued lots of burgers and sausages for the 6th years. 

Trip of the week: The 5th year and LCA trip to the cinema to see Roman Holiday. 

Cringe of the week: Ms Bell extinguishing the candle by mistake at the LC Mass. Awkward.

Wannabe Bear Grylls of the week: Mr Pegler who was in his element on the Gaisce trip. 

Musicians of the week : The 6th years with Ms Hayes and Mr Browne playing Bohemian Rhapsody. WOW. 

Seamstresses of the week : The 1st years who made felt hearts. 

Usain Bolts of the week : Olive and Lucy! 

Multitasker of the week : Mr Browne playing bass. Is there anything he CAN’T do? 

Hockey stars of the week : The Minor Ds and Clare. 

Happy Birthday of the week: To Ellen Sexton who celebrated her big day on Bere Island. 

Wannabe TY of the week: Messi Pegler. Again. 

Heroes of the week: Those who went swimming in the sea. Brrrr. 

Congrats of the week: To Ms Crowley who is getting married next week!

Flag of the week: The LIFT flag that was awarded to the 2nd years.
