SHSS WEEKLY ROUNDUP - Friday 28th April 2023

Bake sales, rugby, Sci Fest, hockey… It was a busy week at SHSS.

Rugby stars of the week: The junior and senior teams who travelled to Dublin for Rugby 7s. They TRY-ed their best and had a fab day. 

Boffin of the week: Nooran who took part in the Chemistry Olympiad. 

Good luck of the week: The YSI group Red Light Green Light who are going to Dublin on Tuesday to compete in the All-Ireland. 

Trip of the week: The TY trip to Cork College of FET in Skibb. 

Equestrian of the week : Alex O Sullivan who came second in the league on his horse, Nirivian. 

Victors of the week : The Senior C hockey team.

Congrats of the week : Our very own Ms Brosnan is now Deputy President of the JMB. Bravo!

Talk of the week (1) : The Eunicas talk about studying abroad. 

Talk of the week (2): Shannon Chapman talking about cruise ships and nautical science. 

Yummiest day of the week: Today! The bake sale was delicious and raised funds for Nurture Africa. 

Happy Birthday of the week: To our darling Catherine. 

Scientists of the week: The groups who went to SciFest. Huge congrats to Meabh and Sarah who won an award. 

Best news of the week: Bank holiday on Monday.
