Sacred Heart Welcomes Diarmuid O'Drisceoil

We were delighted to welcome Diarmuid O’Drsiceoil to Sacred Heart today to record the SHSS Podcast.

Diarmuid is a retired teacher, a writer, a storyteller, and TV personality. He grew up speaking Irish at home and went on to teach it for thirty years.

Well done to Alannah Ni Dhonnabhain and Aisling O’Gorman for leading this interesting interview.

Diarmuid then spoke to Transition Year, 5th year and 2nd year students in the Ref about learning Irish and its value in our ever changing world. His candid approach appealed to the audience, especially when he criticised the Sraith Phictuirs! Well done to Alannah again for being the MC.
