Young Entrepreneur of the Year Competition

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition took place in the GPR yesterday. The dragons included: 

Caroline Murphy of West Cork Eggs, Stephen Rowe of AIB, Oonagh Croke of Bella Donna, Sinead O Crowley of An Sugán,  and Eibhlín Keohane of Keohane Readymix. 

The winners were Ava, Laoise and Sadhbh with their project, ‘Elite Feet’.

Thanks to Ms Hennessy and Ms Kingston. Congrats to all the Ty students who took part and pitched their innovative ideas. 

Best Named Group: Erin, Ella, Emma and Grace with their project ‘Chatty Chase’.

Bravery Award: Denise Fleming with her project, ‘Sonic Mirror’.

2nd place: Ella, Meabh, Victoria, Caoilin, and Sophie.

3rd place: Lucy and Aoibhinn with their project, ‘Fandales’.

Sara, Alison and Caoimhe invented ‘Flot’, a flask that you can reheat.
