SHSS Welcomes New First Years!

We were delighted to have the new first year class of 2022 in the school today for the first part of their induction. 102 students from 16 primary schools attended a talk in the GPR where their Year Head, Ms Sexton, spoke to them about timetables, Ref cards, and other necessary details about daily life at SHSS.

There was dancing on the astroturf with Mr Browne and lots of opportunities to make new connections. Huge thanks to the Peer Mentors who assisted in welcoming the new students and making them feel comfortable.

Tomorrow, a barbecue is planned. Let’s hope the sunny weather continues!
