The Transition Year graduation took place in the GPR last night. The vent showcased the amazing work the TYs have been involved with throughout the year. Each student received a cert, presented by Ms Brosnan.

Past pupil and GAA star, Martina O’Brien was a special guest who presented Lucy O’Flynn and Lucy Collins with the Frank Toner Award for excellence in creative writing.

There was singing, dancing, poetry and signing. 4.1 presented Ms Brosnan and Mr Walsh with a time capsule of memories that they hope to come back and open in 2040.

The TY MCs did a fantastic job!

Well done to all the award recipients. Well done to Squiggly Beads, the mini company that won the Kevin White Award. Huge congratulations to Adiba, Niamh, Lucy and Emily on winning the ‘Best Folder of Achievement’ awards.

Thanks to Ms Harte, Ms Harrington and Mr Barry for all their hard work through this busy Transition Year.
