Whole School Assembly

There was a special whole school assembly yesterday in the gym. Ms Brosnan, Mr Walsh and our Chairperson of the Board of Management, Mr Sean Crowley, all spoke to the students about the recent achievements of the school.

The first group to be recognised was the senior camogie team who won the Senior A County League Final. Then, the cast of Sister Act who won the All-Ireland Light Entertainment Awards last Friday. Then, the senior football team and their Munster Championship win was acknowledged, followed by the students from the Summer Programme who are Munster finalists in the Fresh Film Festival. Ms Brosnan also congratulated Olive O’Flynn and her athletics achievements in Belfast.

We are proud to offer so many extra-curricular activities at SHSS. Well done to all the girls!
