Incoming First Year Information Evening - by Lucy Collins

There was a great turnout at the Incoming 1st Year Information Evening.

Mr Walsh welcomed the parents to the school, observing that some were past pupils of SHSS.

The 6th Year Head Girls, Ciara, Sarah and Nooran, shared their own experiences and imparted some great advice to the girls.

Ms Sexton, our 1st Year Head and Guidance Counsellor, made a presentation to the girls outlining the activities and subjects they will experience if they join our school community. Ms Brosnan concluded with pictures of the school’s facilities and of the many extracurricular events and clubs that run each week.

There was a raffle at the end with fabulous prizes such as a Chromebook, an SHSS jacket, a free school uniform, and book rental for the year worth €120.

A fabulous insight into what SHSS has to offer…which is everything of course :)
