SHSS in Regional FInal of Junk Kouture!

Well done to two of our Junk Kouture teams, Let Them Eat Cake, Duh! and Newsflash, who got through to the Junk Kouture Regional Final!

Thirty-five designs were chosen by the judges from all around the country. Over five days from Monday to Friday in June, a programme of each of the 35 regional finalists will be hosted exclusively on the Junk Kouture YouTube Channel, using a compilation of the students’ videos and images submitted to the Junk Kouture App with their applications. The date is yet to be confirmed.

At the end of the week’s transmissions, there will be a special announcement show, where seven designs from each region will be announced as Grand Finalists by RTE 2FM’s Emma Power and Laura Fox. There is no voting at this stage of the competition - just for those who make it to the grand final. An exciting addition to the judging panel this year is Roz Purcell.

We wish Let Them Eat Cake - Duh! and Newsflash! the best of luck in the regional finals and we also want to congratulate our other JK teams that took part. Their designs were stunning and we’re so proud of them all.
