Leaving Cert Graduation Ceremony

‘There is always light if only we are brave enough to see it. If only we are brave enough to be it’

The Leaving Cert class of 2021 enjoyed a graduation ceremony today in the GPR. The theme of the ceremony was ‘Light’, inspired by the poet, Amanda Gorman.

Mr Seán Crowley, Chairman of the Board of Management, gave a speech to the students where he praised their talents and wished them the best. Ms Brosnan and Mr Walsh spoke, as did the 6th year Student Council members: Clodagh Murphy, Abbie O’Sullivan and Sineád Coomey.

Leaving Cert Year Head, Mr Kiely, thanked them for their cooperation and congratulated them on graduating. He encouraged them to keep up their hobbies as they move forward in life. Huge thanks to the R.E. Department for the beautiful ceremony, and of course, to the Music Department for the wonderful arrangements.

We, at Sacred Heart, wish the Class of 2021 the best of luck as they progress on to the next stage of their lives.

Remember, girls! There’s ALWAYS light.
