SHSS in All-Ireland Schools Quiz!

Well done to the two ‘Brain Box’ teams from Sacred Heart who took part in the “All Ireland School’s Quiz” today. The teams were comprised of second year students:

Team 1: Sinéad Crowley, Ríona Collins; Sophie Kenny and Róisín O'Callaghan.

Team 2: Caoilin McCarthy, Alex O’ Sullivan, Síomha Clarke and Sophia Deasy.

The Quiz was a virtual test of knowledge and speed as teams only had 12 seconds to answer the questions! Teams of 4 had to identify famous landmarks and country flags; answer questions on sport, music, entertainment, history and literature as well as face challenges in 5 different languages and put their problem solving skills to the test. Over 200 teams from 100 schools all over Ireland took part and the Sacred Heart teams did us proud with their results and their great spirit.

Well done to our fantastic second year students for taking part and to Ms Paula O Donovan for organising it!
