New Classrooms at Sacred Heart!

Two beautifully finished, spacious class rooms have been recently added to the accommodation schedule at Sacred Heart. The rooms, located in the boarding school building, received a complete revamp over a four month period. Previously known as the “Cookery Rooms”, and built as an annex in the early 1960’s, the rooms were extensively used up to a number of years ago. Then, due to their deteriorating condition, they were eventually closed.

With significant support from the Department of Education, major works saw the structures completely renovated to produce two top-class, large classroom spaces for students and staff to enjoy for many years to come. The TY students are presently enjoying their new-found comfort!

The red ribbon was cut by 1st year students Aoibhinn O’ Flynn, Emily Ibotson with 5th year students Christine Maughan, and Nollaig Walsh.
