TYs Scoop Film Festival Prize!

Huge congratulations to Mr Browne and his TY filmmakers who won the Fresh Film Audience Award for their short film entitled ‘Covid-19 Rose of Tralee’. Directed by TY student, Ciara Brady, this film received the most votes from the audience and scooped the prize.

This year, the school entered two movies into the Fresh Film Festival: ‘Covid-19 Rose of Tralee’, by this year's TY film class, and ‘Clon's Fittest Family’ by last year's TY film class. Both movies made it into the heats of the festival and even though they didn't get through to the finals, ‘Covid-19 Rose of Tralee’, won the 2021 Fresh Film Festival Audience Award. The movies will be available to view on the school website soon.
