Anyway, we got through it. Remember - only 7 weeks to Christmas.
Well done to the Senior Football team who defeated Skibbereen on Thursday. Yippee!

Chefs of the week: Ms Harte’s first year Home Economics class who made delicious pizzas.
Best news of the week: Christmas is only 7 weeks away. So excited.
Irish dancer of the week : Ava Lane who won a round in the Great Britains in Kensington. Amazing!
Sports Star of the week: Millie Condon, winner of a West Cork Youth Sports award! Bravo!
Nostalgic photo of the week: The SHSS school scarf from the eighties. How cool was that?
Hero of the week: Frank for sorting the lockers, padlocks and all the usual jazz, but ALSO for singing an impromptu song about the lockers being back. An instant classic.
Most energetic of the week (1): The first years who took part in the Camogie Blitz.
Most energetic of the week (2): The TY tag rugby team.
Exciting news of the week: We have three teams going forward to the BT Young Scientist Competition! Bravo!
TikTok of the week: Mariah Carey releasing a Christmas TikTok on November 1st and smashing some pumpkins! We love it! Bring on the festive season!
West End stars of the week: The dedicated cast of the upcoming musical, Sister Act. After school rehearsals, dancing, singing! We can’t wait!
Speaker of the week (1) : Rob Heffernan. He’s just so nice! Very informative talk on banking and CVs. The TYs were very impressed.
Speaker of the week (2) : Past pupil, Laura Clancy, who spoke about the Certified Angus Beef Competition. Some great tips for our girls competing in 2022.
Podcast of the week: The brilliant Brendan McCormack who recorded a podcast about sustainability and climate action. Watch out for it on Spotify. Inspirational.
