SHSS Welcomes Brendan McCormack
The fourth SHSS Podcast took place today and featured local environmentalist Brendan McCormack. The interview was led by Aimee Mulcahy and Leah Murphy. Rosaleen Boahan was the sound engineer.
This is not Brendan’s first visit to SHSS. In 2019, he gave a talk to second years about Save Our Skibbereen and the fight to prevent a plastics factory from being built close to the town. Today he spoke about Green Skibbereen, sustainability and CECAS (Centre of Excellence for Climate Action and Sustainability), an environmental organisation located at Myross Wood House in Leap.
Well done to all involved! This interview will be available soon to download wherever you get your podcasts.
Thanks again to Patrick Kiely and Flux Learning Ltd for making it possible.
