IT’S MIDTERM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done to all who turned up for show rehearsals this week. Amazing acting and singing all round. Can’t wait for Sister Act. It’s going to be epic. 

Far play to all the staff and students who dressed up for our annual Halloween Dress Up Friday. Hilarious!

Victors of the week: The Senior Hockey team who defeated Bandon Grammar this week.

Sad news of the week: The death of Máire Mhac an tSaoi and Brendan Kennelly. A loss to Irish culture. 

Best news of the week : No alarm next week. No packed lunches. No uniform. No roll call. No signing in. No homework. 

Beauty queen of the week: Mr Cronin, the Rose of Kealkill. Fab!

Woodland Fairy of the week: Amy Elpick as an ELF-ick. Fab!

Dancers of the week: Valeria and Anna as Pitbull. That dance was EVERYTHING.

Heroes of the week: The Student Council and Ms Meade for organising such a fun day. 

Legend of the week: Frank dressed as a hippy singing ‘Friday’ in the staffroom. 

Coolest post of the week: The footage from the SHSS drone of the fifth year team building day at Ballyhass. 

Surfer of the week: Mr Pegler shooting down the stairs from the Upper Social Area on his bodyboard. My heart!

It’s Spot. Cruella de Vil’s (Ms Flanagan) dalmatian.

Best pun costume of the week: Mr Kiely as COUNT Dracula (Maths teacher joke!).

Most emotional photo of the week: The Class of 2022, all together, outside the prefabs. Their last Halloween at SHSS.
