Senior Football Team open their season with win over Carrigaline C.S.

Today the senior football team lined out for their first game of the school season against Carrigaline Community School. They got off to a cracking start with Kiya O Magony finding the back of the net in the first 10 minutes, followed by Ciara deasy a few minutes later. Meabh O Donovan, Chloe Allman and Claire Kingston dominated the backs and with help from mid field Brid Collins and Grace Tobin they kept the ball going up to the forwards. Orlaith and Ciara Deasy were on fire and their sister act helped find the back of the net again. Half time arrived and Sacred Heart were well on top.

In the second half there were some great scores from Leanne Sheehy, Elaine Calnan and Siofra Patwell. Ciara White also had her scoring boots on with 3 points in the second half. Well done girls, we look forward to the next game.
