Transition Year UCC Open Day and Trip to Ballyhass

t was a fun-filled day for the transition year students on Wednesday 15th May.

The girls started their journey to the UCC campus, arriving to the Western Gateway Building at 10:30. Here, they sat in a lecture theatre and they were given information on applying to UCC regarding CAO points, what courses they should consider, fees and accommodation. They then made their way to the main campus, where many of the courses that UCC have on offer were displayed and students got to meet with lecturers and current university students.

At 2:00pm the girls arrived to Ballyhass Lakes in Mallow where they took part in a variety of team building exercises and the Aqua park. 

The girls enjoyed the day immensely and both the staff at UCC and Ballyhass commended the students for their positive attitude and participation throughout the day.
