Munster Schools Cross Country Championships

Students from Sacred Heart competed in its first ever Munster Schools Cross Country Championship on Friday 15th of February. Both teams did very well with the minor team finishing in 6th place in their category and the junior team finishing in 5th place in theirs.

Amy McCarthy 1st year had a super race and finished 6th in the individual minor category. This fantastic finish secures her a qualifying place in the all Ireland cross country race in Clongowes Wood College on the 9th of March. A great achievement.

Well done to all the girls, thanks to Ms Lonergan their coach and to Ms Lane who accompanied the girls to the final today
